The history of MINI COOPER'S SHOP

It all started in 2019, during the lockdown in France. Like many others, I was stuck at home, and an idea popped into my head: what if I customized my Mini? I thought about a unique touch, and then the idea came to me:
Add the English flag to the lights, like on the new generation Minis.

Without wasting a second, I got started. I drew the Union Jack flag on my iPad, then started integrating it into the taillight lenses. Excited by the result, I decided to share my creations and opened an Instagram account: MINI ROVER 1000 . I posted photos of my Mini and my first Union Jack kits.

It quickly exploded. During the lockdown, orders poured in, exceeding all my expectations. I collaborated with a French company to produce the kits, but my stock ran out every week. For six months, this project was in full swing, until I decided to think bigger. I created a website dedicated to accessorizing all Minis.

Unfortunately, after a year, I no longer identify with this project. The essence of what I wanted to convey—quality products made in France—is fading. I therefore decided to close this site to refocus.

In 2021, I tried a fresh start with L'Austin Frenchie , launching a new Instagram and Facebook page. But this time, I targeted my audience poorly, lacked time to develop the project, and it ended up falling through.

It's finally January 2023 that everything changes. I set myself a new ambitious goal:
Create MINI COOPER'S SHOP.

What is MINI COOPER'S SHOP?

  • An Instagram , where I share the story of my Mini in all its forms: being repaired, out for a ride or sitting on the side of the road. It's also where I showcase my kits thanks to numerous collaborations.
  • A Facebook page , run by a community of Mini Austin enthusiasts always ready to exchange and share.
  • A website where you'll find our Union Jack kits, as well as other products like our Mini-shaped candles. And that's just the beginning: other creations will be added to our shop.

MY commitment?
Create a French brand , with local manufacturing and quality that exceeds your expectations. Every euro generated by sales is reinvested to restore my Mini and create authentic content around this passion.
